About Kate

Working across sculpture, print, and wearable art, Kate produces both one-off and limited-edition pieces that translate her conceptual work into more intimate, accessible forms. Her wearable artworks and silkscreen prints extend the narrative of her larger sculptural practice, offering collectors a way to engage with her ideas on a personal and tactile level.

Alongside these editions, Kate undertakes commissioned work for public spaces, galleries, corporate clients, and charitable organisations. Her larger-scale projects often respond to specific sites or briefs, while maintaining the distinctive themes and material language that run throughout her practice.

Based in her studio, Kate works with a diverse range of materials and processes. She begins many pieces in clay or wax, which are then cast into plaster, glass, or metals such as bronze and silver. She also fabricates directly in steel, stainless steel, and copper, using welding, soldering, and brazing techniques, and finishes her work with a variety of patinas and gilding processes, including gold, white gold, and silver.

Collaboration plays an important role in her practice. Wherever possible, Kate works with skilled freelancers and specialist fabricators to expand the possibilities of her work, continually experimenting with new techniques and materials.
